In no particular order:

The Calling
An organization that was founded centuries ago by an assembly of psychics with the goal of uniting the psychic world. It was a sanctuary for those whose powers had made them an outcast, a place where psychics could learn about and hone their abilities, and an aid in keeping knowledge of psychics to a minimum in the non-psychic world. The Calling had been a universal home for any psychic who needed it.

It also fostered a concentration in the gene pool, something that had been encouraged by the original leaders. With each generation, psychics were becoming more powerful and more in tune with their abilities.

In the last few decades, something had begun to go wrong, and the organization had been sliced in half with one fatal blow. Vampirism.

  1. I was just wondering when you would have the types of psychic ability section typed up and posted? Just wondering since I found this stuff as really awesome and I like how it you can easily combine greek/latin prefixes with the two suffixes you have defined to make new words/abilities. I wanna see what you came up with.

    …………..And yes I said “wanna”.

      • When I first started writing, I had a reason for stopping at level 8. I have since forgot it, and now I think it’s stupid. BUT, just because level 8 is the highest level documented, doesn’t mean that a psychic can’t exceed that.

        TYPING PSYCHIC ABILITIES… NOW!

      • YESH!

And, this might take me a minute, because some abilities aren’t the “prefix-suffix” sort, and defining them, is… weird. I hadn’t thought about it before. Like, how the shit do I define astral projection? Working on it!
