Absolutely. Absolutely. Logic went out the window. A moment of passion? Maybe. But more like a moment of Indiscretion and game-playing. They were both trying to win something here. And I think this point goes to Aeryn. Hehe.

Oh no no no, Chloe is not afraid of Jax at all. At. All. She may look like a tiny timid thing, but she'll slap somebody up in a heartbeat. If anything, Jax is the one who watches his step around her, but then Jax is a bit of a prick. So sometimes he crosses lines that were never meant to crossed just to say that he crossed them. Case in point.

Aeryn feels like crap over this, but she kind of can't help herself. Jax started this and jacked everything up. If only he'd leave her alone.

I think I'm starting to like Chloe, I think she's maturing a little bit and she's showing Jax who's boss, lol.
It's like she isn't afraid of him, she's so bad ass, LOL.

Aeryn SHOULD be ashamed of herself but it's Jax's fault for making her the way she is towards him. If he didn't touch her she would've been completely fine.

This chapter was great, and I'm going to read the next one! :D

I doubt Aeryn would have sought him out. She was still rational when he wasn't around, so she would have just returned to equilibrium on her own. If he REALLY wanted to end it, he would have just left her alone. I'm sure of that, because its his M.O. He comes, he conquers, and then he leaves, never to be seen again. Which just adds more fuel to your statement that he knew what the balls he was doing. And now I whole heartedly agree that he had at least some subconcious knowledge of what he was doing. He had to have.

This is shocking to me, because I can't tell if that is how I meant it when I wrote it. You have me looking for secondary meanings all over the place Gayl! Ha! XD

Really no one wins here and yet they both do. Aeryn was hooked, she needed it but she got it on her terms. And Jax...some part of Jax probably did want to break it off, or attempt to, if only for her to make him do it, to finish it. He could never have gone back and she may have sought him out, giving him the upper hand and the ego stroke. By going there he gets what he wants but Aeryn, as you pointed out, made him see how utterly dependent he was on her, more his need than hers. I would like to think she would have gotten over it if he had just stayed away. Or maybe not *shrug*

Either way it was a hot HOT sexy piece. And the ramifications of this are going to be far far more interesting!

You're right. Now that I'm think about it... you're absolutely right. I think I was trying to consider it as a "what's the right thing to do," but that was never even an option for him. For either of them really, because Aeryn knew better. MUCH BETTER. And even I, WHO KNOWS WHAT'S COMING, am a little bit thoughtful about this. He did get exactly what he wanted. So he must have been playing her.

But then I still feel like something way deep down in him was really trying to cut it off at the neck. But that was a really really tiny, small, itsy winsy part of him that still lets rational thought in every once in a while. I mean neither of them even TRIED to resist the other. He didn't even TRY! But then Aeryn knew he wouldn't try. She knew he'd give in, so it wasn't even like she was being so naive in that sense. I mean, you can't win something that would be handed to you on a silver platter anyway, right? But maybe in that sense, she was trying to show him exactly how weak he was. Like, even if he was genuinely trying to end it, all she has to do is show a little nipple and he's no longer thinking with the head on his shoulders. I DON'T KNOW ANYMORE! ACK! XD

You know I see things in my brain one way, and they you guys come and put a whole new spin on it, and it becomes a new story entirely for me. I LOVE IT. It's so fulfilling. Thank you for that.

We'll see what happens post-coital-insanity.

You know I should have realized that Jax got exactly what he wanted...Aeryn wanting him. And that just reinforces my comment that he KNEW what he was doing by going there and telling her he wasn't coming back...I just hope she can step away from it now that she got busy with him...he on the other hand will be consumed. But I could be wrong.

Yeah, wordpress and blogger are comment eaters. No worries!

She hasn't thought it through. The rational side of things hasn't even entered her brain. She's angry and lustful and angry, and Jax is just all about self-gratification. This is what he wanted from the get, so why think it through?

Chloe is a woman of her word. She's had to be since she married a jackass.

Thanks!

He proofs?! My boy won't even READ this story just because it's sim-related. I used to have a friend read for me, but he's just as idiotic. Men. I gotta get more girl friends :P.

She might.... but then she might not... *smiles and shrugs*
