Deceiving the Lie: Part XI (B)
My upcoming schedule is pretty much promising to destroy all hints of happiness in my life, so… I’m gonna be taking a mini-hiatus. Yes, the deadly yatus. I will be updating but not nearly as frequently. I think this is an improvement, as last summer I just fluffing disappeared for three months into a cloud of nothingness (also known as Europe. 
).
This update will mark the end of the chapter, and the halfway point of the story.
I will try not to disappear completely, but give me a second with emails, especially live journal (though those who have contacted me there pretty much know that I suck at it), and comments.
And on a smaller, tinier, not important note… can you guys keep me out of sims secrets? Please? I appreciate that it’s complimentary, but… cringe cringe cringe… I already had issues with the lurv scene in the last update, and only just got comfy with it. I’m feeling a bit heebie-jeebied over those pictures showing up just anywhere without my knowledge, especially now that there is linkage going on. I don’t know that I would have cared if it was any other picture, but the one that was chosen… cringe cringe cringe… Seriously, just comment. I don’t follow the secrets. I don’t even follow live journal, really. If it weren’t for incoming links, I wouldn’t have even known it was there. So if it was for my benefit, I have to say the ‘fap’ was lost.
Just. Comment. I love me some comments. I’m not trying to come off as bitchy, because I probably would not have cared with any other picture… but oh gosh, I’m cringing so hard my teeth hurt. I swear, just comment. Or continue lurking. I have a shit ton of lurkers and I love them just the same. But just… no secrets. Please. Please?
And, by the way, refrain from googling ‘fap’ if you don’t know what it means. You’re better off not knowing. I learned the hard way.

Oh gosh, sim secrets in general freak me out. They’re like… MEAN. And when they aren’t mean then people start FAPPING. And until today, that meant nothing to me. Which is weird because of my job. But then today happened. And now it means something. It means… cringe cringe cringe…

Yeah… I’m just not cozy with it. I feel like a hypocrite because I know I would not have cared if it weren’t for the picture chosen. But then, you know I have the picture up for everyone to see so… I don’t know, there is just a lot of vitriol over there, and I just don’t wanna be involved in it, I guess. Good or not.

Hehe. I’m not really sad about it. It wasn’t really the words that bothered me, it was the picture used. But I now I’m feeling kind of like… meh, I have it up for public veiwing so I can’t really complain… but I guess, since it is MY picture, I want say over where it goes. But this is the internet, so as long as no one is plagerizing or anything, I’m just gonna sit down and shut my face.

I’m pretty much the same with sim secret. I think I’ve only been there twice… and I was kind of horrified. Even if they were “good” secrets, um, I like to be unknown in the community. In my little corner, without the drama. I’ve had enough with people trying to steal my shit, thx, don’t drag me into that crappy crap. I appreciate the sentiment, but yeah, I totally feel you here.

Mao, I thought it meant *CHEERS*!! And then when I figured out what it actually meant, I just spent the day randomly shouting out “OH GOD IT DOES SOUND LIKE THAT!!!” And then people were turning and looking like “What?”. Cut to me hiding in corners all day, behind stacks of porno dvds, twitching.
I was just weird because… like, use of my pics without my knowledge is kind of squicky… but I’m trying to chill out because I’m copyrighted and I have them up for public viewing anyway, so maybe I need to let it go. But that’s how I am, I kind of get a bit worked up, and then two seconds later, I don’t care anymore. It makes for terrible follow through.
