After the Calling

It is an equal failing to trust everyone, and to trust noone.

Ugh, bad stuff.

Yes, bad stuff. Computer did not respond to the usual boyfriend cooing. The bof even took off his shirt, which is like a last resort, and even perctorals didn’t work. I mean it worked on me, but I’m not the one who it was geared towards. XD. The damn thing isn’t letting me transfer anything to anything else, preferring to bogard all it’s information and make me want to smack it. This is actually affecting my work life too… not by much… but enough for me to take tomorrow off because I just can’t get anything done *dramatically fans self*. Actually, it’s so I can pick it up after the bof takes it to work with him (he’s a techie, computering, programming, geekazoid… my fav) and lets his “fix-it” dept. take a look. Hopefully, they fix it immediately so I can go home, plug it in, and pretend none of this ever happened.

Yeah. That’s what we’re going to do.

  1. LOL!! I love it. Fiance and I have different levels of tech geekery, but mine is the only one backed by a degree. So usually fixing things falls to me. I’m an OS/networking/graphic major. Yeah, I have major ADD when it comes to learning things, LOL!

Hopefully they can beat it into submission! I demand updates! ;) Kidding, of course.

  2. That sounds totally wacky.

By “it’s not letting me transfer anything to anything else” does that mean that you can’t even email or upload your photos to the internets?

  3. Yeah, I can’t move anything, I can’t open anything. I can’t do anything, but stare at it. And then when I try to transfer files over to my laptop, the damn thing explodes. So, I’m actually heading over right now to go and get the damn thing. So far, the word is good.

  4. So funny! But how completely frustrating. Just about died over your description of your “last resort” method — so your computer is a female huh? LMAO!!! One of mine must be since she/it is so freaking picky about what printers she’ll allow to be plugged into her. The other — naw. He/it happily accepts anything.

Hope you get it worked out!
