Decieving the Lie: Part III A… (A is for angry rant)
Okay, so Decieving the Lie: Part III is long as hell, and I’m SO pissed with myself for not considering my own plight when I wrote it. I broke it into two parts to post simultaneously, but that’s just not going to happen. I’m posting Part A now. Part B will be up soon, just not today. I’ve discovered Silent Lucidity’s OMSPs Revisited and Improved, and they make me feel like I can do anything. AND I CAN! With treeag’s freezer clock and these damn shiftable, angled OMSPs, damn them to hell, I can make my sims do whatever little stupid, crappy, difficult, poo-filled poses that comes into my brain… and it takes me 14 billion years to do it. I HATE THIS! I hate this confidence in my posing abilities! I can no longer give up on a pose using the excuse that “It just can’t be done,” BECAUSE NOW IT CAN BE DONE. Thank you for adding hours and hours to the simming process you creative, helpful, inventive minds! UGH!
*Sigh* I’ve also binged on poseboxes recently, and these unlabled, barely useful, but somehow undeletable boxes of madness are helping to make my simming life a living hell. I’ve decided to hate poseboxes, despite having, like, 30 of them.
So… Part B… I’ll finish it eventually, and then I’ll post it, and then I’ll bitch about how long Part IV is.
The pics aren’t really edited, outside of small stuff, because I was playing around with soft-focus sharpening and all I was getting was poo. It’s mainly because my graphics card was going in and out of consciousness while I was taking pics and basically doing it’s own version of soft-focus sharpening. That jerk. So, with the patience of an angry wildebeast, I completely abandoned the editing process all together. I hope the shots aren’t too bad. But they really aren’t good. I don’t think I’ve ever had graphics this bad.
There is a smidge of discontinuity in the lighting thanks to a jackass fireplace, one shot with a visible OMSP, and Mickey’s hair mesh is a SPAZ… but I would rather shoot my computer in the face than reshoot a picture.
Okay. Angry ranting over. Have fun.

We all know how you feel with the OMSP’s and the posebox explosion.
Luckily for me though, I’m imbued with a certain amount of laziness that has precluded me from even testing like half of my poseboxes. :p So that is maybe what you need. A nice bout of laziness.
Also, I WISH I could have that freezer clock! I don’t have the necessary expansion!

Oh my gosh, that freezer clock is the only reason that I installed Apartment Life. Seriously, I wasn’t going to do it and then I found that damn clock and was like… *sigh* fine, damn game.

The freezer clock is like a magic wand. It completely changed simming for me. The pose boxes though…talk about striking fear and dread. I’m facing what should be a fairly straightforward scene and all I can think of is POSE BOXES I HAVE TO USE MUST USE MUST FIND PINK BOX WITH CREATURE ON TOP…what kind of madness has descended on me. They need warning labels.

S.B. HAHAHA! I totally understand! It’s always, “Gotdam tomato box, where is that pose with hand on the ass and the other shaking an angry fist at the sky?! I hate you!” It is madness, absolutely.

Sorry I can’t get to anything until probably like tomorrow!
I’ve been busy with school projects most of the time so I had like 5 days straight with no TV, laptop, or barely ANY sleep!
I will try to get to this tomorrow!
