Contacts for Enayla’s Unnatural Eyes
Not an update, but I was putting this up at GoS and I figured I’d host the picture files here. I’m useless when it comes to making custom content, but I have managed to figure out the art of contact lenses… proving that making contacts is definitely the easiest possible thing to do. Because of that, I’m not sure if there is much of a demand for these, but I do know that making contacts is tedious as all hell and since I had made them for personal use anyway, I thought I’d share. I’m a big ho’bag for Enayla sets, and most of my sims have her eyes already in their head, but some of her supernatural eyes don’t make for the best genetics.
This set contains her more unnatural eyes. When I can manage to organize them, I will post a set containing most of her more natural looking eyes. The sets are grouped exactly how Enayla grouped them originally, including eyes that came packaged with some of her skins. The set names are not very descriptive, but they are the names that the creator used. I didn’t want to put any of my own spin on them, being that I had nothing to do with ANYTHING outside of renaming a couple of alpha files and fiddling in SimPE for a grand few minutes.
Absolutely all credit goes to Enayla and I have linked to the original sets either at InSim or MTS2.
They can be found in masks and are multi-layerable (except over one another, because that would be pointless). All package files are very clearly named for your pick and choosing pleasure.
Sorry about the wonky patchwork previews. My attention span would only allow for a slap-grab-copy-paste job.

Because I’m Awesome
Do you know how sometimes, on large lots, you put an object down and go off to do something else and then you can’t remember where you put the object? No? Well, I do that all the freaking time. I just prefer not to find my lost shower stalls in my story shots.
This time it would not have been so bad if I hadn’t used this picture for one half of my title shot. I mean, I looked over this not once, or twice, but like ninty-eight times. Just now catching it. Display tray of death. It’s embarrasing to know that I totally have the invisible recolor.
And Mercer had plastic surgery to move her scar from one side of her face to the other. Real people do it all the time. I love it that my stories are so true to life. My boyfriend is a telepath. Especially, after I tell him what I’m thinking.
I also went through my chapters just to see what other idiotic things I left in my pictures, and holy heck, it’s worse than I thought. But that is not what I’m worried about. It turns out that getting through my chapters via the “chapters” page is more tedious than counting hairs. (I was baby-sitting my neice, and she decided that she didn’t want to do ANYTHING except for count how many hairs she had on her head. I love kids and their whims, and I adore this little girl, but I swear I was four seconds from selling her to a circus.) For that reason, I’m gonna to start adding links to make it easier to click in between parts.
And lastly, I’ve started optimizing my PNGs so that they aren’t so fluffing huge. And the picture quality seems to be fine. I’m still playing around with the next update, but it should be up soon.

Secret Of Despair: Part 5/ Mercer Rye
Okay, I am finally up and moving again. I have to admit, after the holidays, my productivity level went off to some godforsaken corner of the Antarctic to die. I blame it all on Animal Planet. I don’t usually have time for television, so when I do, I just binge on Animal Planet and all the Discovery channels. 24/7. Even the repeats. I can’t stop. Sea turtles can drown. To catch fish in really shallow water, dolphins hydroplane. They frickin’ hydroplane. Sometimes, to swim with sharks while they film them, camera men put on camouflage wet suits that work for like 4 minutes before the sharks catch on. The resulting situation is simultaneously insane and hilarious. Really, I couldn’t stop. My boyfriend staged an intervention, so I’m back. I’m lucky enough to work for my sister, so I’ve managed to wiggle my way into an extended vacation, during which I plan to put in a few super massive updates. Starting with this one!
I finally managed to download Apartment Life and tame my computer’s overwhelming urges to crash, and also discovered treeag’s freezer clock, and now I feel like my whole life has changed. I basically scraped everything I’ve done to date and have begun reshooting. Much more is possible now, it terms of posing, so my story line is also gonna do a bit of a switch up. Nothing you’ll notice, but this chapter which originally had 14 parts will be shortened to 10.
Additionally, even though AL is frickin’ awesome, my game has now decided if it can’t crash, then it will just run slower than a sleeping senior citizen while my game card gives me, maybe, an hour of honest effort before spiraling to a fiery death. It mainly affects my lighting (no mods, just maxis stupidity), so with this update, I did some lighting photoshoping. I’m not sure if it works and I like it, or if it’s annoying, but the pics might look strange. ENOUGH TALK!
