After the Calling

1) If this chapter was a person, I would take it outside and kick it’s ass. It sucks and I hate it. I mean I love it, but I hate making it, because it sucks and if it were a person I’d kick it’s ass.
2) WordPress has turned on the auto-spell-checker thingy and won’t let me turn it off, so I just spent 87 years trying to keep it from changing Nyxon’s name to “Nylon stockings” in every paragraph. NYLON STOCKINGS!
3) This chapter was originally supposed to be called Secret of Desperation… true. But I changed it. Reason: I’m ambidextrous, and while I write neater with my right hand, I spell better with my left hand. The difference in spelling is drastic and uncontrollable. It’s odd. I’ve done it my whole life.  My boyfriend thinks I have a brain tumor. In writing my notes for the chapter, my right hand kept pissing off my left hand because its an idiot and can’t spell “desperation”. Despair is spelled correctly on both hands, so we’re going with it.
4) Lately, my crop jobs have sucked. The little red dots in the corners of some of my shots are… just… sorry.
5) Please ignore certain character’s changing heights (if you notice it). My sims are assheads and they don’t listen to anything I say, whether free will is on or not.
6) For all of my sim-story writing readers out there, NEVER use a house made of windows as your set. You can’t hide ANYTHING. And it sucks and makes you want to take your chapter outside and kick it’s ass.

Oh, this too:

Soooooooo, I was really considering breaking this entry into two parts, but I just don’t feel like it. I’m ready for this chapter to be over.  Its a bit long, and there are a few shots that I wanted to redo because I managed to install Bon Voyage without killing my computer.  If there is any discontinuity because of it, sorry! 

 I still don’t have an exact day for updates.  I’m kind of just going with my schedule, but I’m planning on starting the next chapter sometime next week. 

There are a couple of f-bombs in this one.

My site is still farting up the place, but I don’t know what’s wrong with it. My main worry is for new readers since the links are all screwy, but at this point, I’m clueless as to what’s going on. WordPress support is looking into it. I don’t want to put off an update any longer so Madness IX is up, and we’ll just hope it doesn’t disappear.

The pictures are really grainy, and I’m not sure why. I shot this chapter a long time ago and I don’t remember what was going on.  To add to that, I’m finding that Jericho Lee Jr. is a terrible photograph. I’ve never encountered a sim that didn’t photograph well, and it doesn’t make too much sense to me, but this dude takes some really bad pictures. Like, terrible. Weeding through my shots on this one was actually hard, because Jericho looks like a blob of simness in every single picture. Ick.

After a day of drowning in wordpress forums and support, I decided to just reupload the offending parts and get over it. So, parts V and VI of Madness In Sanity are back up and in functioning order and the Chapters page is also back to normal… I’m going to do a run through of the whole site right now and make sure that those were the only screwy pages.  If everything checks out, I’ll be updating tomorrow with Part IX of Madness.

I have no idea what’s going on, but some of my story entries are disappearing and being replaced with other entries. Madness Part VI is showing up as Madness part VIII, Madness V is showing up as Madness VII.  I haven’t even looked through Bliss of Reentry. I may have to reupload everything. Hoping I don’t. I was planning on updating tommorrow, but I can’t do anything until I’m sure this damn website is done cannabalizing itself.  Sorry!

Update: None of my links are linking to the correct thing. I’m hoping this something going on with wordpress, and not my particular blog. Will update if I’m able to remedy the issue.

Update: The issue seems to be with Madness V and Madness VI.  They’ve disappeared. I’m going to try and find them, or reupload. Those two entries will be down until I’ve repaired the problem.

Update: I KNOW WHAT’S WRONG. The site is not eating itself. The pictures are. Meaning, I need to find some more creative names for my shots because they are replacing each other. FIXING NOW.

Update: That’s not what’s wrong… *sigh*
